• Insurance Information: Insurance card images and policy details you upload
• Appointment Notes: Information about your healthcare appointments

Important: All health information is entered by you voluntarily. We do not receive data directly from healthcare providers, hospitals, or insurance companies.

Usage and Device Information

We collect information about how you use Fyndoc, including pages visited, features used, and device information such as browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.

Location Information

With your permission, we collect location data to help you find healthcare providers near you. You can disable location services in your device settings at any time.

Primary Uses

• Display Your Health Data: Show your health conditions, vitals, and insurance information in your personal dashboard
• Find Matching Providers: Help you discover healthcare providers that match your needs and conditions
• Enable Provider Communication: Facilitate messaging between you and healthcare providers you choose to contact
• Schedule Appointments: Allow you to book and manage healthcare appointments
• Send Notifications: Remind you about appointments, health tips, and important updates

What We Never Do

• Sell your personal or health information to third parties
• Use your health data for advertising purposes
• Share your information without your explicit consent
• Make automated decisions about your healthcare

You maintain full control over your personal and health information:

• You Enter All Health Data: All health information comes directly from you - we don't import data from external sources
• View and Edit: Access, review, and modify your information at any time through your account settings
• Selective Sharing: Choose exactly which providers can see your shared health information
• Revoke Access: Remove provider access to your shared data at any time
• Delete Your Data: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export Your Data: Request a copy of your data in a portable format

4. Information Sharing

With Healthcare Providers

When you choose to share health information with a provider through Fyndoc, that provider can view the specific data you've authorized. You can revoke this access at any time.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate Fyndoc:

• Supabase: Secure database and authentication services
• Google Maps Platform: Location and mapping services for provider search
• AI Services: Optional AI-powered health assistant features (when enabled by you)

These services process data according to their own privacy policies and our contractual requirements for data protection.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government regulation, or when necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the rights of others.

By providing your phone number and consenting to communications during account registration, you agree to receive SMS/text messages from Fyndoc. These messages may include:

• Account notifications and security alerts
• Appointment reminders and updates
• Customer support responses
• Service-related communications

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity, appointments, and interactions with the platform.

Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Fyndoc is not responsible for any charges incurred from receiving text messages.

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Fyndoc. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You will no longer receive SMS messages from Fyndoc unless you re-subscribe.

Re-subscribing

If you have opted out and wish to receive text messages again, you may text START to our designated Fyndoc phone number, or update your communication preferences in your account settings.

We implement comprehensive security measures to protect your information:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted to and from Fyndoc is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS
• Secure Infrastructure: Our cloud infrastructure meets industry security standards
• Access Controls: Strict authentication and authorization controls limit data access

• Regular Monitoring: Continuous security monitoring and vulnerability assessments

While we implement robust security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Your Privacy Rights

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to Know: Request information about what personal data we collect and how it's used
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information
• Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale of personal information (note: we do not sell your data)
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights

All Users

Regardless of your location, you can access, correct, or delete your personal information through your account settings or by contacting us directly.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.

Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics and service improvement.

9. Children's Privacy

Fyndoc is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also send you a notification via email or in-app message.

Fyndoc's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When a healthcare provider chooses to connect their Google Calendar, we request the Google Calendar scopes solely to (1) read existing events so we can show the provider's real availability and avoid double-booking, and (2) create and manage appointment events on the provider's calendar at their direction. We access only what is needed for this scheduling functionality.

Data obtained through Google APIs is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, is never sold, and is never transferred to any third-party artificial intelligence service. It is used only to provide the scheduling features described above, at the provider's request.
